Cuando empezamos en una escuela de Poker, y no s iniciamos en una estrategia determinada, por causa del aburrimiento, de las malas rachas, o de nuestros fallos, podemos empezar a cambiar cosas e "inventar" acciones o movimientos que no corresponden al modelo de juego elegido.
Si nos dedicamos, por ejemplo, jugando de Short a pagar subidas grandes, y a solo pagar la apuesta de continuación del contrario, estaremos jugando en contra de la ventaja de jugar con 20 ciegas, ya que nunca tendremos ningún tipo de fold equity en turn y estaremos totalmente comited con el bote, no pudiendo tirar una mano, que seguramente, será perdedora.
Jugando de Deep, igualar subidas de Short con parejas pequeñas con la esperanza de ligar un trio, es terrible. Nunca conseguiremos el beneficio suficiente cuando consigamos la trucha para cubrir las pérdidas que tenemos al pagar esas subidas las veces que no ligamos, y también cubrir aquellas veces, que serán pocas, que nuestro Set no gane.
Lo mejor es ser disciplinado, seguir las estrategias al pie de la letra, acudir a las clases, y si algo no lo entendemos, preguntar para saber por que hacemos ciertas cosas.
